Singapore-based cafe and casual restaurant, Breko Cafe, decide it was time to revamp its cafe website and branding to align with its’ consumers brand expectations. The cafe to-date has been operating in Singapore for over 20 years at several locations. With declining diners gradually over the last few years, it was not something that could not be fixed. We decided to help them analyse what were the key issues and provide them with effective remedies.
Their brand identity has not been touched since the cafe’s first outlet opened, and although it has worked for more than one decade, today’s consumers expect much more than good food and service. They want to be associated well with the products and service they patronise. Through research and survey, we gathered insights of data from several demographics including their main target consumers. Our next step was then to propose a visual identity that was aligned with these group of targeted consumers.
Cafe Website Design
Breko Cafe did not have a website for more than five years prior to this exercise. This was due to the fact that their Facebook campaign was doing well and the perception was it was not necessary then to have another presence online. The truth is, there’s no right or wrong answer. Having a standalone website allows you to build your marketing plans around this domain. It gives you the freedom to maintain your content and gives you the flexibility and consistent brand identity. By redirecting traffic from their social media, we are able to then lead users to explore more menu items, make a reservation or even find out more about their other services that include corporate and private bookings. For more detailed marketing planning, we also share analytics and knowledge on how well their various social media platform is performing in driving traffic to their website.
