BBCG is built around a small number of senior advisors who go deeply into each client engagement, not a large team that processes volume. The profiles below reflect the specific expertise, the professional background, and the type of client situation each advisor is best positioned to serve. They are not merely resumes.
They are the answer to the question every ultra high net worth client should ask before entrusting their affairs to any firm. Who, specifically, will be responsible for understanding my situation and getting it right?
Further team profiles will be published as the firm’s advisory team continues to grow. For specific enquiries about which advisor is best suited to your situation, please contact us directly.
James Wang founded Blue Brick Consulting Group and co-founded Golden Acacia Capital on a conviction he had tested across more than a decade of advisory work with Chinese entrepreneurs and UHNW individuals establishing Singapore structures. That the gap most clients fall into is not a failure of any individual advisor, but a failure of integration. No single firm was responsible for ensuring that the corporate design, the banking relationship, the wealth management framework, the tax position, the governance framework, and the immigration strategy were all pulling in the same direction.
His advisory career spans corporate structuring, cross-border business expansion, and private client advisory across Singapore and the ASEAN region. Before founding BBCG, James advised businesses on expansion strategies into Vietnam, Thailand, and Myanmar, covering company establishment, go-to- market strategy, business matching, and corporate due diligence. He subsequently built a corporate services practice focused specifically on Chinese entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals establishing Singapore structures, developing in the process a deep understanding of the specific complexity that Greater China clients bring to Singapore, and the specific gaps that conventional corporate service providers are not equipped to close.
James sits on the Advisory Committee of Golden Acacia Capital Pte Ltd, a licensed fund manager holding a Capital Markets Services licence with assets under management of SGD 250 million. He also serves as Deputy Chairman of the Singapore Dongguan Entrepreneurs Federation. He is fluent in English and Mandarin, and maintains an active network of financial institutions, multi-family offices, law firms, and UHNW families across Asia.
His work at BBCG is focused on the clients whose situations require the most integrated advisory thinking, including cross-border entrepreneurs relocating capital and operations to Singapore, family office principals establishing governance frameworks for multigenerational wealth, and UHNW individuals whose affairs have grown beyond the capacity of their current advisors.
James Wang holds a Diploma in Banking and Finance from Kaplan Higher Education Institute and an Advanced Diploma in Blockchain and Cryptocurrency from Singapore Management University. He has completed Fintech & Innovation training at the National University of Singapore and is a member of the Singapore Fintech Association.
